In my senior year of high school I couldn’t wait to take college-level English classes. So I didn’t. Fortuitously, my school offered a program that followed Syracuse University’s freshman English curriculum. From there I went to Cornell University, where I studied English with concentrations in creative writing and the theory and philosophy of literature. I’m also picking up a law and society minor. I don’t mean to minimize Donne or Shakespeare but I like contemporary writing the best.
Much of my life has been devoted to reading, writing, and dissecting that which is already written to see how it works. I currently report for the Warwick Valley Dispatch, where I am also interning.
